Ken began his automotive career in 1976 with Ohio’s largest Buick dealer. Soon afterward, he helped build what became the largest dealer affiliated leasing company in the United States. Over the next several years he held positions of sales manager, general sales manager and general manager for Buick and Toyota dealerships. His accomplishments included leading the dealerships to top sales positions and CSI rankings. Ken then teamed up with JM Family Enterprises to form a commercial fleet leasing company, where he developed a large portfolio of fleet leasing clients before joining the initial start up team of AutoNation USA, in 1995. Prior to joining Wheego, Ken was president and owner of Strategic Automotive Services, a diversified automotive consulting company. He has been successful in coordinating dealer and manufacturer relationships throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Canada, specializing in improving dealership profitability and mergers and acquisitions.
“As a consultant, Ken has helped many automotive dealers across the country navigate a tough economy, increasing their sales and Customer Satisfaction ratings,” said Wheego CEO Mike McQuary. “We are excited to bring his expertise in-house as we ramp up sales and roll out new additions to our line of all-electric cars. He will help us build our dealer network through his extensive industry contacts, and he will help improve the services and programs we offer our dealers and our drivers.”
Ken will be based at the company’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
